G-res Tool Training
Learn how to calculate GHG emissions from hydropower reservoirs
This interactive online training course gives participants the basic knowledge of geographic information systems and reservoir GHG dynamics to assess projects using the G-res Tool. This training course is designed for professionals from all backgrounds interested in learning how to apply the G-res Tool.
The course will be delivered as a blend of online and offline engagement. Participants will take part in virtual classrooms where the trainers will deliver live lessons, including group activities and live Q&A sessions. Participants will receive an official certificate from the International Hydropower Association and will be accredited as Certified Users of the G-res Tool.
The G-res Tool Training will take place virtually on 3 - 7 June 2024. Participants are expected to join live sessions on 3, 5 and 7 June at 13:00-17:00 UK time.
The standard rate for the training course is £1,500+ VAT per participant. IHA and HS Council members are eligible for a 10% discount. Group discounts are available for groups above 5.

There is no exam but you will have to present your assessment results in a group discussion.
